How to Register Your Group:

  • Contact Marie at 218-780-2696 or email Marie to check trip availability.
  • Youth groups need to select a Group Leader or two to accompany your group while on trail.
  • Complete the registration form and return it with a $400 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit for each group of up to 8 canoeists.
  • Make checks payable to VLM.
  • Read the Pre-Trip Planning Guide and prepare for the journey of a lifetime!

How to Register as an Individual:

2012 Costs 

                                              Weeklong Trips (7 days)*                  Weekend Trips (5 days)

6 or fewer participants:          $3,225 per group                             Flat fee of $2,600 per group
7 participants:                        $3,395 per group ($485/ind.)            (up to 8 participants)
8 participants:                        $3,880 per group($485/ind.)

All weeklong trip types are the same price with the exception of Expedition Routes. Due to the additional permits needed, there are higher fees for Expedition Routes. Rates vary depending on how many nights your group wants to stay in the Quetico and/or Primitive Management Areas. Deposit:
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $400 is required for each trip.

Discounts:
Register with a deposit by 12/31/2011 and receive $50 off per participant for weeklong trips or $300 off the weekend trip fee.
Register with a deposit by 1/31/2012 and receive $20 off per participant for weeklong trips or $100 off the weekend trip fee.
Member congregationsreceive an additional 13% off all trip types.
NEW THIS YEAR! Each person in your group will get a $5 gift card to Short Stop convenience stores in Virginia, Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Cook and Hibbing, MN.
